t-shirts. We are all worshipping an awesome Lord!

ADULT BIBLE STUDY!
We hope EACH of YOU will get involved in at least one Bible Study. Please pray about joining with a group. We desire for each of you to grow in your Bible study and Connection to God, and for you to Connect with Others from MCC during these Small Group times.
We have a Small Group Bible Study that gathers at the church on Sunday mornings before Worship at 9:30 a.m. (We also have a Small Group that gathers on Wednesdays at 4 p.m.) Our Youth are gathering twice a month. Our children will continue to gather weekly in Kid’s Quest for their Bible study during our morning worship service.
THE CONNECTION
NEW TIME 4 PM
The Connection is a time during the week that we gather together for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. We usually begin our evening Connecting over dessert as we catch up with each other about our week. Then, we join in our study & prayer time. We are connecting with each other, but more importantly we are connecting to God. Talking with Him during prayer and hearing His Word to us during Bible Study. Please join us! We are currently in a new study, a video study—The GREAT Morning Revolution!
What does your morning routine look like? Do you hit the snooze button a few times? Or are you up before the alarm even goes off? Maybe your day begins with brushing your teeth and getting ready, or perhaps not much happens until you’ve had that first cup of coffee for your quiet time. And if you have children or pets, well—quiet time might not even be part of the equation! But what if your morning routine could become more than just habit—what if it could help you prayerfully center your day on God? Whether or not you consider yourself a morning person, imagine what it could look like to begin your day with God.
Join us for a video Bible study designed to help you change your day by changing the rhythm of your morning. You’ll learn how the acronym GREAT—Gratitude, Reflect, Exalt, Ask, and Trust— can reframe your mindset and guide you into the joy that comes each morning through God’s presence. Our Mid-week Bible Study, The Connection, will study this helpful series
Remember, Wednesdays, 4 p.m.

You are invited to our MCC Christmas Caroling SUNDAY, December 14, at 5:15 p.m. We will meet at church, go to Lexington Extended Care, entering the parking lot off of Maxie Road, the lot that also fronts Old Cherokee. After the nursing home, we will travel to various homes for caroling. We can have carpooling or self-driving, and everyone will be given the addresses of the homes to be visited. After caroling, we will grab food together for those who wish. Come, join us in sharing Christmas joy and this fellowship time.
ANGEL TREE
Please donate toys by Sunday, December 14. Each year, our church supports the Sandy Nyman Angel Tree. The Cancer Ministry decided to support ALL the children in Prisma Children’s Hospital fighting cancer. Since there are multiple children, we do NOT need just one of each of these gift suggestions because each child is free to choose ANY gift. Therefore you may donate one toy, 10 different toys, or even multiples of the same. Children undergo months and sometimes years of procedures, tests, and treatments. They also give the children toys when they’re in the hospital for appointments—physical exams, treatments, and painful procedures such as spinal taps and bone marrow aspirations. They also let children choose gifts on their birthdays. Below is a list we received of current high-priority needs. The sign-up list is posted on the back wall of the Worship Center with estimated online costs.
CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST
Please join us for a Christmas Breakfast on Sunday, December 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite breakfast items to share with everyone… Casseroles, doughnuts, fruit, grits, drinks, etc. We will not have Bible Study classes that morning.
CHRISTMAS EVE
6 PM
On Christmas Eve at 6 p.m., we will celebrate the birth of Christ with a Candlelight Service. This is always a highlight of our church year as we gather to sing carols, share in communion, celebrate the wonderful gift of Jesus Christ, and remember Him in candlelight. Please join us and also invite your friends & family.
THANK YOU, MCC!
