We hope EACH of YOU will get involved in at least one Bible Study. Please pray about joining with a group. We desire for each of you to grow in your Bible study and Connection to God, and for you to Connect with Others from MCC during these Small Group times.

THE CONNECTION
The Connection is a time during the week that we gather together. The Connection is a time that we:
- get Connected with each other—we begin by chatting & sharing our week, usually over dessert. Then we
- get Connected with God—we have a devoted time of Bible study and prayer.
We invite you to our Bible study on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

The Camp Edisto Men’s Retreat will gather beginning with dinner
from 6:00 – 6:45. Then Worship, Teaching, & Communion will
be from 7:00 – 8:15. The cost for the retreat is $10,
Sunday, May 18, you are invited to a church-wide picnic! After worship, we will all head to Gibson Pond Park, 241 Gibson Road, for a church-wide picnic. We have reserved the largest shelter—the pavilion, the one between the dock and the beginning of the walking trail. We are also right next to the bathrooms. The site is concreted, has tables, and is next to the pond. There is a fishing dock, and the pond is open to non-motorized boats. Gibson Pond Park is 15 acres, is heavily wooded with a short, paved, easy to follow trail through the woods.

This year for Mother’s Day,
MCC is collecting donations to purchase car seats for LaVie.

Each spring before Easter, we have an MCC Workday. We STILL have several items that need to be taken care of. PLEASE contact the church to set up a time you can come to help out! We have a TO DO LIST in the foyer for you to choose from. THANK YOU!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
July 27 – 31, 6 – 8:30 P.M.

We have volunteers who serve the homeless population in various ways. We have some who serve locally by laundering clothes, grocery shopping, and providing direct care for the homeless. We also donate food and supplies to a local women’s shelter, Samaritan’s Well. A basket for donations for the homeless is located in the foyer under the appropriately labeled sign. We update the church regularly on the needs of Samaritan’s Well. The Helping the Homeless Team welcomes you to join in this service. If you are interested, please contact the church office.
